If you're shooting live outdoors, the ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme models support connecting an Apple or Android phone to take advantage of your mobile internet package! It is also a good replacement for the main Ethernet connection. Tethering from your phone works with both the latest high speed 5G phones and the more common 4G phones! The ATEM switcher automatically detects when a phone is connected and switches the internet connection to use the phone. Thus, it eliminates the need to change settings. Powered through the USB port, the phone stays charged when connected to the switcher. Using the internet package and phone sharing, ATEM Mini Pro and ATEM Mini Extreme become the perfect solution for mobile productions!

ATEM Mini is perfect for news or on set presentation work as it features the powerful ATEM Advanced Chroma Key used for green screen keying effects. The Chroma keyer is incredibly efficient and features a color picker that allows sampling of background colors for automatic generation of key parameters. You get seamless controls for edge and reflection. There's even a foreground color corrector so you can harmonize the foreground layer with the background layer for flawless compositions. You can even use it for text layers by creating graphics with a green or blue background. ATEM Mini Extreme includes 4 massive ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers. This means one keyer per camera for fixed camera virtual set productions.
Powerful SuperSource Processing!
In addition to the 2 standalone DVEs in the ATEM Mini Extreme models, there is also a multi-layered and efficient SuperSource processor that includes four extra layers of DVE and a background layer. All of these appear as an additional input source to the ATEM Mini Extreme. Any ATEM Mini Extreme video input can be used for each of the SuperSource DVEs, and they are then layered together over a custom media pool backdrop. The SuperSource feature is perfect for creating a picture-in-picture screen that displays the people you're interviewing. Because; you can edit the effect before going live and still keep both main DVEs free for other tasks. The SuperSource feature is like having an extra VFX switcher built in with many layers!
