The native resolution of the sensor in the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is 4096 x2160, while the 6K models have a sensor with a native resolution of 6144 x3456. Whether you're shooting in bright daylight or in a place with little or no light, dual native ISO of up to 25,600 with 13 stops of dynamic range ensures you get stunning images with low noise in all lighting conditions. Besides, the larger Super 35 sensor on the 6K models allows shooting with anamorphic lenses and a shallow depth of field. All models allow you to shoot at up to 60fps in full resolution or up to 120fps in reduced sensor area. Thanks to the combination of Blackmagic color science and an amazing sensor, you get the same imaging technology as the most expensive digital film cameras.

Large 5” LCD Display

The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro's LCD is a more advanced HDR display that can tilt up and down so it's easy to view your footage from anywhere. Also, the HDR display on the pro model has a brightness of 1500 nits, making it ideal for use in bright sunlight!

Featuring the same 5th Gen Color Science found in the high-end URSA Mini Pro 12K, the new Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro delivers further enhanced image quality with stunning, accurate skin tones and lifelike colors in every shot. For better looking shots, you get a new dynamic 12-bit gamma curve designed to capture more color data in highlights and shadows. Color science also handles some of the sophisticated Blackmagic RAW image processing, ensuring that color and dynamic range data from the sensor is retained over metadata and used later in post production. That is, color corrections made with DaVinci Resolve Studio in post production result in natural, film-like images.

Optional Viewfinder for Professional Shooting

Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro supports optional viewfinder to ensure outdoor and handheld shooting is accurate and easy! You get a high-quality 1280 x960 color integrated OLED display with 4-optical glass viewfinder and built-in proximity sensor, with a wide focus setting from -4 to +4 for incredibly accurate images. A built-in digital focus chart ensures you get the perfect viewfinder focus setup. You can also view critical status information such as frame guides. The Pocket Cinema Camera Pro EVF connects quickly to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro via a single connection. The visor has a swivel range of 70 degrees and comes with 4 different types of eyecups for both the left and right eye.

Professional Connections for Special Equipment!

Although small and portable, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera; it contains a wide variety of connections for sound, display, power and so on. The camera has a full-length HDMI connection for viewing with HDR and 10-bit clear signal output support. That is, you can connect an HDMI display to watch images on set, with or without overlays that show critical information and camera status. There's also a mini XLR connector with 48-volt phantom power, a 3.5mm camcorder-style microphone jack, a headphone jack, and a locking professional DC power connector for connecting professional microphones! USB-C connection allows you to connect your media disk and save directly!
