BirdDog's Flex 4K BACKPACK HDMI Encoder is an ultra-compact NDI interface for HDMI video sources. Connect your built-in monitor, camera or other video source and have it instantly available on your active NDI network. BirdDog BACKPACK supports video up to UHD 4K30 and 1080p60 resolution.
The versatile BACKPACK can be powered using a Sony L-Series type battery, PoE, or a separately sold 12V power supply. The 15W DC output port allows you to power select monitors and cameras from your BACKPACK power supply. Tally information is displayed for the operator and transferred to compatible equipment. For access control of non-NDI PTZ cameras, connect a separately sold cable to the 2.5mm RS232 port. Additional features include an adaptive bitrate, cooled thermal design, 3.5mm audio jack, and 3.5mm headphone output.
