From BirdDog to Full NDI Encoder Flex 4K HDMI In is an ultra-compact NDI interface for HDMI video sources. Connect your built-in monitor, camera or other video source and have it instantly available on your NDI-enabled network. BirdDog Flex In supports video up to UHD 4K30 and 1080p60 resolution.

Versatile power options include PoE or a separately sold 12V power supply. The 15W DC output port lets you power select monitors and cameras from your Flex 4K In power supply. Tally information is displayed for the operator and transferred to compatible equipment. For access control of non-NDI PTZ cameras, connect a separately sold cable to the 2.5mm RS232 port. Additional features include an adaptive bitrate, cooling thermal design, and a headphone output for onboard HDMI audio.

Ultra Compact Form

The Flex 4K In is slightly larger than a credit card and weighs just under five ounces.

Single Cable Plus DC Power Output

A single Ethernet port routes NDI, PoE, video, audio, tally and voice intercom; DC power output powers certain monitors and cameras.

Flexible Power Input Options

Power the Flex 4K In using PoE or via DC input.

PTZ Sidekick

To encode NDI, connect a PTZ control cable and add PTZ switch control for your non-NDI PTZ camera.
