CEDAR's dialogue noise removal (DNS) technology removes traffic noise, ventilation, wind, rain, crowd hum and general background noise from the audio signal. It can also prevent excessive echo while correcting problems caused by unfavorable acoustics and poor microphone placement.

2-channel DNS 2 is the first DNS specifically designed for portability and exceptional ease of use. It features a new DNS algorithm where you don't need anything other than a switch that identifies background noise and determines the required noise reduction level by activating the "Learn" feature. DNS 2 with almost zero latency, same studio and post as well as location recording, live broadcast, It is suitable for use in many situations such as concert venues, stages, conference rooms and places of worship.

Small and light enough to easily carry in your pocket or equipment bag, DNS 2 offers analog line and microphone inputs (with 48V phantom power option), an AES3/AES11 digital input, and both digital and analog outputs. Having a 12V power input further enhances its flexibility by providing studio-friendly use even in the middle of the field.
