Cedar DNS 8D
CEDAR DNS 8D is designed specifically for broadcast and live sound. It features eight channels of noise removal and a new algorithm that combines the best of machine learning and signal processing on which DNS 8 Live and DNS 2 dialogue noise remover are based.
With its user interface that includes standard and detailed operating modes, it offers better control than any previous dialog noise remover, both from the front panel and from almost any web browser that can access its software via the built-in control interface. In addition to universal mains power with near-zero latency and standard 4-pin 12VDC input, it is suitable for use in all live situations - not only broadcast but also suitable for theatres, concert halls, lecture halls and places of worship.
DNS 8D is the first DNS to have a Dante interface in addition to AES3 audio connections (DB25 using AES59 pinout). With fail-safe AES3 audio bypass implemented as hardware relays that immediately connect inputs to outputs in the event of a power outage or other major outage, as well as support for Dante's redundant mode of operation that helps protect against network failure, critically located anywhere in the audio chain can be safely installed on roads.
