Product description

Stream, watch and record your 4K HDMI video program with Kiloview S2 H.265 4K Video Encoder. You can choose your preferred codec with H.265 encoding that supports both H.265 and H.264 encoding, providing 4Kp30 output for streaming at 4Mb/s at half the size of H.264 encoding at the same quality. The S2 provides both main (4K) stream output and sub (1080p) stream. Each stream can be sent to 8 platforms with the same or different protocols, live streaming to 16 streaming platforms at the same time in total.

The S2 supports embedded audio and analog audio inputs as well as HDMI 2.0 and has a loop output for local monitoring of your input signal. It supports simultaneous streaming with RTMP/RTMPS and interfaces with NDI|HX and is suitable for remote productions when using the SRT protocol. A built-in beacon lets you use it in multi-camera productions, and an optional Kiloview software activates intercom functions. While streaming and viewing output locally, the S2 allows you to save your output to a convenient USB drive or an optional NAS recording setup.

4K Transmission

With HDMI 2.0 input, S2 supports true 4Kp60 HDMI input and encodes up to 4Kp30. It's also compatible with SD/HD/VESA resolutions to meet your high-quality video needs.

Protocols

The S2 supports RTSP/RTMP/RTMPS/HLS/TS-UDP/Onvif1.1/2.0/ and NDI|HX, enabling you to broadcast live with RTMP/RTMPS, create live productions with NDI|HX, and support remote production with SRT , S2 can handle them all at once.

Stream to 16 Platforms Simultaneously

S2 supports dual stream output (main stream and sub stream) and each stream can be sent to 8 platforms using the same or different protocols. This allows S2 to live stream to 16 streaming platforms simultaneously. The main stream supports resolutions up to 4Kp30 Hz, while the sub stream supports resolutions up to 1080p60.

Record

The S2 allows recording via USB for local recording or NAS recording, storage and playback for video while streaming.

Real-Time Monitoring and Preview

The Web UI allows you to preview the video source in real time, allowing you to monitor the video status at any time.

Text Overlay

You can place LOGO/text/pictures in any position of the screen, rotate/crop, mirror as you wish. Volume column, faceplate, centerline and color adjustment are also available.

Multiple Audio Channels

S2 supports up to 4 audio channels and allows you to add, delete, change and adjust different encoding formats of audio channels.

Audio and Intercom

Both embedded and 3.5mm analog audio input are supported. Together with Kiloview intercom software, S2 can support intercom functions.

Strength

The S2 can be powered by PoE or 12 VDC. An Ethernet cable can supply power and transmit signals at the same time.
