Tascam DP-24SD Portastudio Multitrack Recorder

The DP-24SD Digital Portastudio is a 24-track workstation that allows simultaneous recording of eight tracks.

The built-in mixer includes everything you need for a professional sounding mix, from EQ and reverb to amplification simulation and multi-band mastering effects. The Digital Portastudio series creates finished products without the need for a computer, but instead uses a simple-to-use control surface to keep you creative.

To display the mix clearly, the DP-24SD has a large, full color LCD that displays tracks, meters and effect parameters. A set of 12 encoders controls EQ, effects sends, and shifting. Built-in effects include compression, guitar amp modeling, delay, reverb, and a total of 10 effects processors while mixing.

Eight XLR mic/line inputs provide phantom power for switchable condenser microphones on banks of four. An input includes an instrument-level impedance switch for direct input recording of guitar or bass. Balanced monitor outputs and effects sends are also provided on the rear panel.

The USB output enables transfer of tracks and mixes saved on your SD card to a computer for CD burning or online sharing.
