Tascam DP-32SD 32-Channel Digital Porta Sound Card

DP-32SD is a 32-channel home recording Portastudio based on solid state technology. The unit is equipped with color LCD and channel strip controls to make recording simple, so the user can stay creative. Up to eight tracks can be recorded simultaneously to a standard SD/SDHC memory card via the XLR and 6.3mm combo jacks. Input processing such as compression and limiting while recording, internal send effect with reverb, delay and chorus, guitar amp simulation and multiple effects for use with instrument-level input, as well as external effects send are available.

For mixdown, the DP-32SD offers 20 channels of faders and 12 rotary controls for EQ, Pan and effects including reverb and chorus. During the mastering process, the material can be further optimized by EQ, compression and normalization. Once finished, the songs can be transferred to the computer via USB, for example for broadcasting on the Internet.

The DP-32SD has eight XLR-TRS combo inputs. You can save up to eight sources at a time and use up to 32 tracks for playback and mixing. Electric guitars and basses can be connected directly to the H input when set to GUITAR.
