Tascam DR-07X Stereo Audio Recorder and USB Audio Interface

The Tascam DR-07X is a digital recorder and USB audio interface built on the popular and powerful Tascam DR-07. Ideal for music recording, sound design and more, the DR-07X offers exceptional power and performance in a compact package.

A pair of cardioid condenser microphones handles high sound pressure levels and can be tuned in AB or XY directional for extra clear reproduction with a wide stereo field or low phase shift between both channels.

Users can also use their own microphone or line-level sources via the mini-jack stereo input, which includes pluggable power for microphones that need it. With increased capacity for up to 128GB microSDXC cards, the DR-07X can record for literally days.

Language Support:

The DR-07X features a simple multilingual user interface, making it easy to access recording, adjust levels, delete footage, add markers and other common functions with just one click. Menus are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese.

Three different auto level modes (Limiter, Peak Reduction, Auto Level) can help prevent accidental distortion while recording.

Users can apply one of six reverb effects to the input or output signal, and the Overdub feature allows sounds or instruments to be added to existing audio files. There's also a Level Alignment function that smooths out sudden audio jumps during playback, and a built-in speaker is provided for quick control. The new Dictation Mode allows the user to skip forward and backward in preset increments while playing a file. It can be combined with, for example, speed control and a custom dictation EQ, useful for writing minute recordings, for example. The new tape-style Overwrite mode with a tape rewind level allows users to allows you to select an entry time and replace part of an existing recording.

Apart from portable recording, the DR-07X can also be used as a USB audio interface with two inputs and outputs; making it a powerful yet easy gear for voiceover work, live broadcasting, podcasting, and songwriting with studio-quality sound.
